“How much longer do we have to wait, Umbra?”

“Only a little bit, Skugga. Soon, the sun will set, and when it does, we’ll be free.”

“All of us?”

“Yes, all of us.”

I like the sense of weary anticipation. Freedom is the ultimate motivator. Hope their wait was worth it for them.
